CarMax Park Opens In Richmond
I began my eighth year as one of the official scorers for the Richmond Flying Squirrels, the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, we have moved into a new ballpark. What an upgrade. It’s gorgeous.

The Sun
With Nick Leyva at The Sun in San Bernadino. Not Sure if this was before or after Nick's major-league managing career.

Babe Ruth Baseball
My Babe Ruth baseball team from 1977. I don't remember all the names or faces, but here is what I have come up with, in no particular order: Jeffrey Scherer, Frank Cicero, Chuck Dollard, Mark Crisafulli, Gary Wager, Kenny Bailey, Glen Haberland, my father and Glen's father were the coaches.

Rusty Staub
To Rusty Staub, my first and biggest sports hero. A number of years ago, I got the pleasure of meeting him at a minor league park. I almost didn't go, but my good friend Mike Holtzclaw said I needed to. I was worried that he might not live up to my expectations. Mike said, more or less, what if he does? Well, he did, and I was so thankful I went. He even allowed my wife to take a picture of him and me with my kids. He will always be an Expo in my heart.

MLB Stadiums
My siblings and I have been on a quest to visit all the MLB Stadiums At Dodger Stadium on Tuesday and couldn't help but think of Coach Richard Leach. A few years ago, Coach Leach, Jeffrey Scherer, my wife and I went to Cooperstown and had a blast. We were like kids in a candy store, and not one of us was under 50. We had a Dodgers fan, a Pirates fan, a Braves fan and an Expos fan and all got along. The power of sports.
